Eerie too - seems the Israeli lobbyists tried to lynch her after she unfurled her banner and voiced dissent. The fascist mindset just waiting to leap at any legitimate prey. Theoreticians eagerly jumping at the chance to translate their political violence into the real thing.

Context: US lawmakers were giving ultra-rightwinger Netanyahu something like 25 standing ovations. Paying allegiance to his policies of domination and colonisation over the Palestinians inside his country and of the territory it occupies and oppresses. US representatives clearly in conflict with the principles in their own Constitution and their obligation to act in the best interest of their people.

Wider context: The ultra right-wing Israeli gov't as usual pledges to continue its colonisation of the Palestinian territory and its denial of that people's right to self-determination. In this, it enjoys the full support of the US elite. As always, the EU, Russia or China could speak out against, sanction this imperialist repression, but choose to accept it.
